Chris is a Site Coordinator for the UTeach Institute, working with partner universities to implement UTeach programs.
Chris has been involved in various aspects of STEM ed since 2002 — teaching at both the collegiate and secondary level, offering induction support to first-year math and science teachers, and leading professional development on inquiry-based instruction, networked classrooms and assessment. Chris joined the UTeach Institute team in 2014. Prior to joining the team, he was an AI for multiple UTeach courses.
Chris recently helped create and lead a math and science transition camp for incoming 6th grade students and the faculty at a local academically low performing middle school. Chris was also Co-PI on the ESTIMA: Empowering Students and Teachers into Mathematical Action program.
Interesting Fact: When not working, I enjoy listening to live music, cooling off in the 68° waters of Barton Springs, and spoiling my daughter.
