Dr. Amy Moreland

Assistant Director

Amy Moreland is the UTeach Expansion Manager with the UTeach Institute, leading the national UTeach Implementation and Support Services and the Evaluation and Reporting groups.

Amy has worked at the UTeach Institute since 2012 after graduating from UT Austin with a PhD in STEM Education in 2011. She also holds a master’s degree in biology from the University of North Texas, with past experience teaching general sciences at the middle school level and environmental science at the community college level.

If you like the Austin music scene, you might find her playing mandolin in the local bluegrass/Americana troupe, Brand New Key!
