UTeach Offers Two Pathways for Degree Holders
Earning certification through the UTeach traditional pathway requires a minimum of four semesters. Students are admitted in both the fall and spring semesters and scheduling is flexible.
Earning certification through UTeach Accelerate requires two semesters of coursework and has a fall start only. Decide which path is best for you below.
Traditional UTeach Pathway
This pathway will take a minimum of 4 semesters and is available for a fall or spring start. You do not have to pursue another undergraduate degree.
UTeach Accelerate Pathway
This pathway will take 2 semesters of coursework, followed by either a one-semester student teaching experience or a two-semester (paid) internship with your own classroom.
