Site Support Lead
Chris Deyo serves as an Expansion Site Coordinator Lead with the UTeach Institute.
He graduated from UT Austin in 2015 with a BS in Mathematics and his teaching certification through the UTeach program, and he has since returned to UT to pursue his Master’s in STEM Education. Before returning to UT, he worked as a high school math teacher and choir director at a local Austin high school. His current research interests include accessibility in math classrooms and creating spaces that foster the positive co-construction of mathematics identities alongside other personal identities.
