Senior Program Coordinator
Martha is a senior program coordinator for UTeach Outreach. Her major focus is on designing inquiry-based STEM curriculum and instructional support of the summer camps within UTeach Outreach programs.
Martha started her time at UT Austin getting a BS in Microbiology. After spending a few years as a medical laboratory scientist, she went into teaching high school science. During her time teaching chemistry and biotechnology, Martha earned a Master of Arts in secondary science education from UTeach at UT Austin.
Martha enjoys planning student centered lessons that take science out into the real world for students. One of her major goals is to turn today’s children into tomorrow’s STEM leaders.
