UTeach Associate Academic Advisor
Perla is the Associate Academic Advisor at UTeach, where she guides prospective and current students through both one-on-one and group advising sessions. She takes a holistic approach to advising, ensuring students feel supported both academically and personally as they navigate their university experience.
Perla earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Prior to joining UTeach, she served as a Program Advisor at a technical college in the Rio Grande Valley, where she specialized in empowering students and connecting them to high-paying career pathways.
